Kevin Stemmler is a second-generation owner with his 2 brothers and is CEO of Stemmler Meats, with a focus on business, product development and regulatory affairs. Also actively involved in industry affairs from provincial to federal. From sitting on the board of Meat and Poultry Ontario to helping to lobby for industry interests such as easier interprovincial trade for small businesses with politicians, to being involved with the new Centre for Meat Innovation and Technology. I am also a definite lover of food and a founding member of a chapter of Les Marmitons in Waterloo region, which is an international men’s cooking organization that began in Paris France.
Stemmler Meats has a small Provincial manufacturing facility with retail in Heidelberg ON and a Medium sized Federal manufacturing facility in Waterloo ON. We’ve entered our 38th year in business. Products range from deli products to a larger focus on sausages, and bacon to shelf-stable jerky and snack sticks. We have won over 30 provincial product awards and continue to innovate and compete. Stemmler Meats is currently pivoting towards the co-packing industry by helping to support the medium-sized need of various companies with a plan to have more of a national presence.
